Rules
1. You must respond to at least 2 or 3 pieces before you post your own material. The ratio must be at least 3 to 1. After all, this IS a message board!
2. No profanity.
3. If you are younger than 18, you are not allowed to post profanity or sexually provocative content anywhere on The Un.P.S. On-Line Open Mic.
4. If you are younger than 13, you are not allowed on The Un.P.S. On-line open mic. If found out, you will be banned.
5. Absolutely no double posting unless permitted by the administrator. If your poem fits more than one category, please choose the category that you prefer but not both. (This rule does not apply if one of the boards is a Audio or Video Board).
6. The Un.P.S. On-Line Open Mic does not tolerate harassment of its members of any kind and if it is brought to the attention of the administration, you could be banned upon further investigation.
7. If you are banned from this board and continue to harass, action will be taken from The Underground Poet's Society, Inc., Proboards and the service provider that you have holding your e-mail address as well as having your account deleted.
8. No untitled poems please as they will be immediately deleted.
9. If you post on this board and are banned for any reason, your work will be removed. No need to ask because it will be done automatically.
10. If you disrespect any moderator or administrators on this board you will be banned. No questions asked.
11. Don't just use this board as an advertising tool. If you post a bio about you and/or your site, you need to be a part of the board. If not, you and your bio will be deleted.
12. If you are caught plagiarizing another author's work and you lie about it when asked, this is automatic grounds to be banned.
Suggestions
1. Please spell check the work that you post on the board. It looks really bad on a writer that has poor spelling and typos. I know no one is perfect but it helps to keep mistakes to a minimum and we all look good because you are not only representing yourself, you are representing this site.
2. Please refrain from using all caps. It is considered lazy as a writer to do so and does not look good. Of course this is not a must but a strong suggestion.
